Otter stocks is a one man operation,
I hand make Stocks, Grips and forends for T/C
Contender , G2 and Encore pistols and rifles in a
small shop in NW Arkansas.

There is no CNC machine or Stock copying machine
in the shop. Each piece is truly custom made. I do
use power tools for inletting but each piece is
custom shaped and finished by hand

My goal is to make the highest quality one of a kind
custom grips, forends and butt stocks for T/C
pistols and rifles, designed for the intended use and
fitted to the customers hand.

Feel Free to call or email to discuss what you
would like in the way of stock work. I will estimate
the finished cost and request that you send 50%
down. When your woodwork is shaped I email
photos or ship you the pieces to check for fit and
confirm the finished price. If you like what you see,
you can then pay the balance. If it doesn't meet
your expectations when it arrives, you can return it
for a full refund, minus shipping cost.

Custom work prices vary depending on the details:
There are usually several grades of walnut and
maple in stock, also we have had customers supply
their own wood blanks. Some folks like to search
out their own special piece of wood. Currently
custom matched pistol grip/forend sets start around
$300

I can not guarantee inletting work on customer
supplied wood. Do to the nature of the material,
flaws that can't be seen from the outside can show
up when the wood is cut. Customers often ask
about laminates for their stocks. I do not stock any
laminates, but can special order them or can make
what ever you like if you supply the materials.

All Stocks
traditionally finished
with up to 20 coats
of hand rubbed oil.
This takes a lot of
time ,but really
brings out the rich
colors and depth in
the wood

Contender , G2 and Encore matched sets
of grip and forend start at $280
depending on wood choice, complexity of
design other details. T/C Rifle Buttstocks
and matching forends start at $500.

Unusual Finishes,Reshape/ Refinish work
and odd repairs are billed on a hourly
basis.

Standard Forend attachment is full floating
pillar bedding.

For fitting non standard custom barrel
profiles, I need to have the barrel shipped
to me

Individual forends can be made in any style,
