Installation, Page 2
By Ron Rietfors
This photo also shows where the proper bushing go in relation to the control arm
5. If you are doing all front suspension bushings (8), you will have eight polyurethane bushings and four inner
sleeves from the two kit # 3,5118G and four polyurethane and two inner sleeves from kit # 3.3123G that will be used
in the installation. The rest of the parts except the lubricant from both kits are extra and not used.

This photo shows all of the new polyurethane bushing and metal sleeves that come in just one of each kit. This is all
you will be using from these kits to complete two (2) control arms.
6. The polyurethane bushing and sleeves from the kit # 3.5118 do not require modification and can be used as
is. They will be installed in place of the stock bushings that have two washers on the end of the shaft. They will be
installed from each side of the outer sleeve on the end with two washers.
7. Next grind a larger chamfer on one end only of all of the new inner sleeves provided with the polyurethane
bushings kits. This will allow the new inner sleeve to be inserted into the new polyurethane bushings once they are
installed in the control arms.
Notice the newly ground chamfer on the
metal inner bushing.
